Hmmm much has happened since the last post !

Life has been exciting most of the time  , many possibilities on the horizon . 

After a hectic day of dealing with a government administration , and impermeable civil servants,

on awakening this morning, a phrase came immediately to mind. " I do not want to use my brain to try to understand the labyrinthine functioning of a system which seems to have, at best a few tenuous interconnections and at worst  non existent and badly dysfunctioning interconnections."

With that enlightening thought, I will now enjoy my day to the fullest.

Spring is springing wholeheartedly now, new discoveries each time the garden is visited ! 

the days are longer, which allows for a visit around my little domain , after work !!

How very invigorating it feels to be able to do this again, even in the rain !

wren chicks have hatched !

How stupendous !  there are two tiny wren chicks in the nest on my front door !

I must be one of the very rare people to actually witness this !!!

 After work each evening, the first thing I do after putting my bag and keys down, is a wander round the garden, at some point the neighbours cat joins in and we arrive at the top together, her ready for a little meal and a bowl of milk, and me for a milky coffee.

Just Cherries !

The other evening there was a gentle knocking on the front door,

A neighbour bearing cherries! now they are just a pile of cherry stalks and stones.
